About Us
The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center at Florida State University is North Florida’s Premier Entertainment & Convention Center featuring a 12,500 seat arena, luxury suites, club seats, over 54,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibition space and an arena view restaurant, the Spotlight Grille.
It is easy to understand why over a half a million people attend events at the Tucker Center with the varied array of attractions we offer. Consider: a $33.8 million versatile, contemporary complex; excellent facilities; reasonable rates; and a cooperative and efficient staff that knows its business and your needs.
Some people come to the Tucker Center to enjoy the sounds of rock, country, pop and urban concerts. Some come for the thrills of FSU basketball, monster trucks, circus, rodeos, family shows and others come for conventions, banquets, expositions, or consumer and trade shows. Located downtown on Pensacola Street, we are only two blocks from the Capitol building and right across the street from the FSU Law School.
As the seat of State government, Tallahassee attracts thousands who come to maintain liaison with Florida’s public officials. In addition, Tallahassee is the home of two major universities (Florida State University and Florida A&M University) and Tallahassee Community College with a combined total enrollment of over 58,000 students who are constantly in search of good entertainment — certainly no small consideration when planning a public event.
It is important to us that your needs are completely satisfied —whether you attend an event or host one, no matter how large or small. We pledge to do everything within our power to make certain your event runs smoothly and that you are treated right – so that when you leave, you’re already thinking about coming back.
